40 Shades of Green
A concert of Irish music
This concert will take you deep into the national romantic atmosphere of Irish classical and traditional music! Echoes from the green fields and rugged cliffs battered by the sea can be heard in the salons, where the most skilled classical composers have been inspired by Irish music and nature.

This genre, rarely heard in Finland, is charming and easily approachable. The changing repertoire of the concert includes, among others, the Irish Suite (Ryan Molloy 2015), a solo violin piece utilizing Irish traditional music based on Bach's French Suites. In addition, we will hear Fritz Kreisler's arrangements of Molly On The Shore, Last Rose of Summer, and Danny Boy. As a modern twist, there are works by Micheail O Suilleabhain, Francis Larchet, and Michael McGlynn. As a special addition, the musicians will showcase their incredible improvisation skills. Both Lotta Marie and Jokinen are virtuosic masters of improvisation. Improvisation and variation are essential elements of Irish tradition, so incorporating it into the concert program is a natural choice. In each concert the musicians will take a piece where a simple Irish traditional melody instantly grows into an improvised caprice, sonata, or concerto. Therefore, each concert is unique. Violinist Lotta Marie narrates the stories behind the pieces in an entertaining and engaging manner, which livens up the concert and breaks the stiff protocol of classical music.

The concert premiered at Kangasala Church on December 13, 2022. In fall 2023 the concert toured in 4 different venues in Pirkanmaa region, reaching audience of over 1000 people and receiving excellent reviews.
The concert combines Irish classical music and traditional music in a charming way, providing a delightful experience for the audience. Lotta Marie's skilled curation of the program and the duo's charismatic performance make the concert an assured crowd-puller.

With top soloist
Lotta performs as a soloist, in duos, trios, and various ensembles alongside Finland's top soloists and musicians. She collaborates with, among others, Amadeus Lundberg's ensemble, as well as many other stars in the realm of Finnish schlager music. In 2023, she will be featured in the Olavi Virta - Red Leaves Tour, with soloists Tomi Metsäketo, Milana Misic, and Hannu Lehtonen. In 2024 she's touring with Kyösti Mäkimattila And Milana Misic in their new show. You can book concerts, for example, for your local concert hall and other venues.
String Quartet
Piano & violin duo
A professional string quartet is an elegant and luxurious choice that undoubtedly creates a solemn atmosphere for a wedding ceremony. Our versatile quartet not only plays classical music but also stylish arrangements of pop songs, making it an excellent choice for background music, for example, during a dinner. The quartet can adapt to the situation, transforming into a duo or trio as needed.
Violin & piano is a classic and reliable combination capable of playing anything from jazz to pop, movie soundtracks, and classical works by Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven.
Elektra
Elektra is an energetic female duo, combining a DJ, violin, saxophone, and vocals all in one package.

Lotta Marie (violin) is an experienced musician who has toured as a violinist in various projects around the world, while Sofia Autio has conquered the festival stages in Finland, including being part of Ressu Redford's lineup.
